Onya ABC Saturday 7 o'clock News, you're a class act.
Tonight, from 7:12 through to 7:24 we got a wall to wall sport - and hardly all mainstream sport at that. (The upside was that it wasn't presented by that inarticulate dipstick, Peter Wilkinson.)
Then we got the weather report which was followed by and substantially exceeded in length by some totally irrelevant filler shite story about some London underground/tunnel, presented by one of the ABC's tedious time servers, Phillip Williams.
Then, to add insult to injury, we have some seriously naff programme about the mountains of Snowdonia presented by Griff Rhys Jones, a moderately amusing comedian but obviously no doco presenter! Maybe it was a sinecure written into his retirement package.
If the staff at Video Ezy ask why I rented "Debbie Does Emmanuelle and Alvin Purple Behind the Green Door in Dallas" tonight, I'll tell them no uncertain manner.
